i just thought i would remind everyone that the next round of the surrey championships is this sunday the 23rd and starts at 2. plz get your pre-entries in makes life so much easier.
Also there will probably be a new class debuting at this round, the blata elite class as a few of our members now have these bikes. so if enough turn up, which i hope they do as i wanna race mine, we will provide them races, and by going on toms and mikes performance on these bike in the watercooled class last time it should be a very good class indeed. Also if we are able to run this class on sunday there will be someone competing in it that most wont expect but you have all met this person before.
enough from me peace out

well what can be said. in my mind best race day so far.
i would first like to thank bernie hook for coming down nice to see you mate.
numbers were slightly down in this class but good racing as everand well done to all. watercooled class is always good and patrick vice was running very well as always. and adult cags was entertaining with all the quadards, a personal well done to jamie in this class for his first time round and track and pulled and second in the final. well done mate.
performance class was good aswell made even more interesting by the superscoot of bernie with no surprises took first.
now the new class, and what a class it was with a filed of 7 bikes for its first appearnce was brilliant, and the mystery rider, yes it was clare. The racing produced by this class is brilliant close and fast. also producedd the best crash of the meeting. yes it involved me had a collision with another rider through a corner then got hit in the head by clare. ( dont no how i carried on riding through rest of day when i got home me left shoulder locked up as well as the constant dead leg i had.) but none the less well done to clare who won the final who was just in front of, o me, as i done bernie on the line. lol
a big thanx to everyone that turned up and lets make the next one even better. marty |
