we do sweep the track mate
but surley washing the track will make it more slippery?
also the grip a track has is also down to the weather conditions becuase when there is damp in the air the track will be slippery when hot and dry it will be grippy and unfortunatley there is not much i can do about that.

the track is cleaned before every meetingI can vouch for that even I have been out there with the boys sweeping the track if you get to the track early you will see the boys out there sweeping, I do agree with marty in the summer the track has loads of grip.
Its also one of the smoothest tracks ive been, copared to lydd its like a sheet a of glass.

change the surface of the track. if u changed it to the proper stuff then when there is damp air it wont b as slippery and people can still get ther knee down n fly round the corners without being scared of falling every time.

mate this is actually top quality tarmac and no better can be brought.
the issue of grip is a confussing one because bernie was down on wednesday who has said the track can be slippery rode on 4 different bikes all with different tyres and commented that the grip was fine on all the bikes.

track to be cleanedBernie came down and tried the track out the other night and said the grip was ok, we think the dust from the quadbike tracks gets on the track in the summer which makes it not as grippy as normal, But a his Suggestion of having the track cleaned like Matchams has been taken on board and we will have it before the next race day in December.

track shape changelast week I added a chicane in the straight which made gave the track more shape will try again tonight.
I agree with you the track isnt slippey at the moment but if cleaning the track will increase numbers i dont mind doing it
